Year 7 & 8 Robotics Excursion

On 2nd of March, Year 7 & 8 Robotics students have had a fantastic time participating in the “RoboKidsTM” incursion. Students worked in pairs to program self-driven robotic cars. The car they designed had to be programmed to drive itself, recognise the zebra pedestrian pass and stop. Also it needed to find the car park and park itself. Students programmed their self-driven cars and all cars passed the test at the end of the session 1. In session 2 they had to design and program wrestling robots to compete and push the other robots out of the ring. Session 3 they had to design line following rescue robot to rescue a victim from a dangerous place where no human was allowed to enter. It was a fun and a challenging day for Robotics students.
